"Lesestart 1–2–3": Gemeinsam den Bildungsweg gestalten
Ein solides Fundament für eine erfolgreiche Bildung legt man nicht nur in der Schule, sondern bereits in den frühesten Lebensjahren. Das regelmäßige Vorlesen von klein auf spielt dabei eine entscheidende Rolle, um den Wortschatz zu fördern und die Liebe zum Lesen zu wecken. Genau hier setzt das bundesweite Förderprogramm "Lesestart 1–2–3" an.
Mit dem klaren Ziel, Eltern mit Kindern zwischen einem und drei Jahren zu motivieren, regelmäßig vorzulesen, werden rund 4,5 Millionen Lesestart-Sets durch das Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung gefördert. Die Stiftung Lesen stellt diese Sets während der achtjährigen Laufzeit in Kooperation mit verschiedenen Programmpartner:innen kostenfrei Familien mit Kleinkindern zur Verfügung.
"Lesestart 1–2–3" ermutigt Eltern dazu, aktiv die kindliche Entwicklung zu fördern, indem sie das Lesen als Teil des täglichen Lebens integrieren. Gemeinsam schaffen wir so eine liebevolle und lehrreiche Umgebung, die den Grundstein für einen erfolgreichen Bildungsweg legt.
Lesestart-Sets ab jetzt in der Bibliothek Peißen
Die Bibliothek Peißen ist Programmpartner von "Lesestart 1-2-3". Familien mit Kind(ern) im Alter von drei Jahren erhalten in der Bibliothek Peißen, solange der Vorrat reicht, kostenfrei ein Lesestart-Set. Jedes Set besteht aus einer bunten Stofftasche mit einem altersgerechten Bilderbuch, das zum gemeinsamen Anschauen und Vorlesen einlädt. Ergänzt wird das Buch durch eine Broschüre mit Vorlesetipps in fünf Sprachen, um eine breite Palette von Familien anzusprechen und ihnen die Freude am gemeinsamen Lesen nahezubringen.

A solid foundation for a successful education is not only laid at school, but also in the earliest years of life. Regular reading aloud from an early age plays a decisive role in promoting vocabulary and awakening a love of reading. This is exactly where the nationwide support program "Lesestart 1-2-3" comes in.
With the clear aim of motivating parents with children between the ages of one and three to read aloud regularly, around 4.5 million Lesestart sets are being funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. Stiftung Lesen provides these sets free of charge to families with young children over the eight-year period in cooperation with various program partners.
"Lesestart 1-2-3" encourages parents to actively promote child development by integrating reading as part of everyday life. Together, we create a loving and educational environment that lays the foundation for a successful educational path.
Lesestart kits now available at the Peißen library
The Peißen library is a program partner of "Lesestart 1-2-3". Families with children aged three can obtain a Lesestart set free of charge from Peißen library while stocks last. Each set consists of a colorful cloth bag with an age-appropriate picture book that invites children to look at and read aloud together. The book is supplemented by a brochure with reading tips in five languages to appeal to a wide range of families and introduce them to the joy of reading together.
